Short Commute 1 was made on the subway, going to and from work, during one week in September 2018. It was made entirely with the Teenage Engineering OP-1 synthesizer.

"I'm hoping this will become a series, almost like a blog or diary. There's something with the constraints of one tool and a fifteen-minute train ride that appeals to me. Plus, making music is a great way to travel."
